Sophie Beck

Sophie Beck started her culinary career at the age of 17, at O’Connell Street Bistro in Auckland. Wanting to travel, Sophie ventured to Japan to work at Australian chef Luke Mangan's Tokyo restaurant Salt, and then to London. She spent nearly three years in London working at The River Cafe, where she gained her love and appreciation for simple, fresh, seasonal cooking. She is now Head Chef of the ever popular Little & Friday cafes in Auckland.
